Our Mission

South Africa doesn't have enough STEM teachers where they're needed most. TEACH South Africa recruits strong graduates, trains them as teachers, and places them in under-resourced schools for two years, then backs them to keep leading in education, business or public service long after.

Recruit

We find talented graduates, especially in STEM fields, who want to make a real difference.

Train & Place

Ambassadors complete a training academy and are placed as teachers in under-resourced schools for at least two years.

Support

We stay involved throughout the placement, with mentoring, development and a strong Ambassador network.

Lead Beyond the Classroom

After their placement, Ambassadors carry what they've learned into education, business, government and civil society.
